In the story ‘Demon empress’ I had the intention to show several secondary images in most illustrations. Either as a painting on the wall, or inserted as something seen on a TV or computer screen. We can only see some few examples of this, such as the framed image of a man bound with rope on the wall in one case, and two on one other where there’s a painting of the Buddhist purgatory, and – a bit hard to see – but it’s one Chinese goddess.

This one was supposed to poke fun on the commonly used sign seen at workplaces *Number of days since the last accident.*

As the story got prematurely cancelled due to the lack of reader interest I post this one as a separate image instead.
