Giantess Pinups Vargas Style

Giantess Pinups Vargas Style
Alberto Vargas was a Peruvian painter who painted pinup girls. He painted pinups during World War Two for Esquire magazine and his art inspired nose art on American and Allied aircraft during the war. His art would be featured in Playboy in the 1960s and 70s.

SantaClaus at Giantess City suggested to me the idea of doing giantess renders in the Vargas style, which often included a line of dialog. His pinups often did not have an environment around them but existed in empty space, forcing the viewer’s attention to focus on the woman. Some other characteristics and tendencies of Vargas I also copied, others I did not. One compromise that immediately had to be made was the inclusion of a tiny for scale. Otherwise, the giantess becomes just another pinup.

The biggest challenge in doing these renders was figuring out the dialog I wanted to use. I drew on one line that SantaClaus suggested and turned to other places for my inspiration.
